For New Students

  • GLS Orientation - No official orientation this Spring semester, but GLS staff are always available to answer questions.

Courses & Registration

  • First day of class - Wednesday, January 11 (Monday schedule)
  • Drop/Add ends - Wednesday, January 25
  • Summer Registration begins - Monday, February 20
  • Fall Registration begins - Wednesday, April 5
  • Fall Registration ends - Friday, April 14
  • Graduate classes end - Wednesday, April 19
  • Graduate reading period - Thursday-Sunday, April 20-April 30
  • Last day of semester - Saturday, May 6

Master’s Projects

  • Apply to graduate deadline (for May graduation) - Wednesday, January 25
  • MP Proseminars
    • Session I - Tuesday, January 10, 6:00-8:30pm, GLS House
    • Session II - Monday, February 27, 6:00-9:00pm, GLS House
  • Proposal meeting deadline (for Summer projects; contact GLS early in semester with supervisor availability) - Friday, March 10
