Assistant Director
As the Assistant Director of the Graduate Liberal Studies program, Kent Wicker splits his time between administering the academic aspects of the program and teaching interdisciplinary classes. His recent courses have focused on the experience of embodiment, the experience of place, and the experience of cultural encounters abroad. His academic interests include issues of region, class, and gender in American and post-colonial literatures, as well as the novel and narrative theory. He is also interested in religious and intellectual history, and the history of everyday life.
