Michelle Dove

Michelle Dove is a writer, teacher, and musician living in Saxapahaw, NC. She teaches creative writing focusing on lyric essay and short stories for GLS and the summer program in the English Department.

She is the author of Radio Cacophony, a linked collection of short prose, and writing that appears in Chicago Review, storySouth, Diagram, Entropy, and Maggot Brain, a music magazine from Third Man Records. With folklorist and writer Emily Hilliard, she co-runs the feminist record label SPINSTER, which supports a diverse range of musicians who explore territory across the traditional, radical, and experimental.
